Product Health Framework
A new indicator covering the importance of instrumentation to help maintain Quality of Service
We seek to maximise the Rate of Delivery and Quality of Service achieved by Product Teams by automating key aspects of their work. Building instrumentation into the heart of our products enables Teams to detect, identify and correct operational problems very quickly. Providing insight into nascent problems before they have an operational impact allows teams to take pre-emptive corrective action. This means that customers do not suffer a reduction in service. Other teams, such as front-line support, do not suffer increased volumes of support calls.
New Idea
Mastery, Autonomy and Purpose added to the Ideas section to help build high performing teams.
What is it that motivates us to deliver a great performance for our customers, colleagues and our employer? What is it that makes us happy in our work? A simple assumption is that money makes all the difference. But there is a lot of evidence that other factors also play an important role in motivating us to succeed.
Revised Content
Our contributors continue to review and revise the core content of anAgileMind. We aim to increase the consistency and quality of the information we present to make anAgileMind even more useful. Our focus this week has been the indicators of the Product Health Framework to remove the typos and other errors that crept in as we transcribed the content from source documents.
Articles
Will Sambrook writes about Mastery, Autonomy and Purpose and how leaders can foster these positive cultural attributes within their organisations.
