Core Components

Our approach is to make useful elaborations to the simple agile funnel presented by Sidky et al. The changes allow us to capture more detail about very broad ranging topics such as the Values and Behaviours. Other changes allow us to make useful groupings providing another way to navigate potentially large collections of topics such as Practices. Key Relationships

Values and Behaviours

Each Value and Behaviour is elaborated by multiple Focuses that are grouped into Customer, Team, and Context categories. Each Value and Behaviour is supported by multiple Principles.

Focuses

Each Focus is an elaboration of a Value and Behaviour. It is implemented by multiple Practices.

Principles

Each Principle page documents an invidual principle. It supports multiple Values and Behaviours.

Practices

Each Practice documents a practice identified in agile teams through their own ways of working or through the use of a framework. It partially implements multiple Focuses. A Practice can be supported by multiple related Practices.

Practice Categories

Each Practice Category contains multiple practices. A Practice Category can be expanded by multiple related Practice Categories.

 

Additional Components

The additional components - ideas, beliefs and frameworks are not formally linked to the core components as a part of the model of anAgileMind. Where cross-references are useful, these are achieved using links embedded in the text. For example, the Sprint Review is a Scrum ceremony. The link to the Scrum Framework is embedded in the text of the practice. We may integrate the additional components more fully in the future as we build more content.
